Waterjet AG is a world renowned specialist for individual solutions in waterjet cutting and in process and machine development. It offers competence and expertise in waterjet technology. This includes the redevelopment and further development of machines, cutting systems and concepts.
microwaterjet AG
Microwaterjet AG specialises in micro waterjet cutting and is a key research and development partner to AWJmm® Technology (Abrasive Waterjet Micromachining). The precision waterjet it has developed is 10 times more accurate and has a cutting interface with a 5-fold decrease in size.
microwaterjet LLC
Micro Waterjet, LLC (MWJ) was founded through a partnership between Waterjet AG and the Max Daetwyler Corporation to bring the micro-manufacturing services of the highly developed abrasive jet technology to North America. Micro Waterjet LLC covers a broad market spectrum from the aviation, automobile and electronics industry to the medical technology and watch sectors.
AWjmm® Abrasive Waterjet micromachining
Micromachining AG plays a key role in the development of waterjet cutting: it built the research and development lab for abrasive waterjet microtechnology and the precision waterjet technology AWJmm®. The research and development labs now form an independent company and are a member of the Waterjet Group.
Waterjet Robotics AG
The core competences of Waterjet Robotics lie in the field of process development and automation. Process developments include high-precision automated drilling techniques using waterjet technology while in the automation field, Waterjet Robotics focuses on unmanned production.
MDC Max Daetwyler AG
The machines (named Microwaterjet® F4 and C4) developed for the micro waterjet cutting process are still manufactured and sold uniquely under license by MDC Daetwyler Technics, a mechanical engineering company. Micromachining AG remains the owner of the patents and the trademarks.
